Global Entry is a program administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that enables pre-approved travelers to go through expedited immigration procedures when arriving in the United States.
From the end of July 2023, Japanese nationals who do not hold a U.S. Green Card also became eligible to use Global Entry. However, unfortunately, new applications from Japanese nationals had been suspended from October 2023 onward due to system modifications. After that, our firm continued to monitor developments from U.S. CBP on a daily basis, and the program finally reopened on May 15, 2024 (U.S. time).
