History

August 2002 Became a member of the Gyoseishoshi Lawyers of Tokyo organization. Established IMS International Legal Office, a client relations law firm that focused on Japanese and U.S. visa consulting, located in JT Building, Toranomon, Minato Ward, Tokyo
November 2003 Commissioned by the University of Tokyo Graduate Schools of Engineering and Information Science and Technology to provide clerical agency work related to Japanese visa acquisition for foreign students and researchers.
July 2004 Commissioned by Tokyo Institute of Technology (Ookayama Campus) to provide clerical agency work related to Japanese visa acquisition for foreign students and researchers.
December 2004 Commissioned by the University of Tokyo (Kashiwa Campus) to provide clerical agency work related to Japanese visa acquisition for foreign students and researchers.
July 2005 Commissioned by Tokyo Institute of Technology (Suzukakedai Campus) to provide clerical agency work related to Japanese visa acquisition for foreign students and researchers.
November 2006 Started services for all of University of Tokyo to provide clerical agency work related to Japanese visa acquisition for foreign students and researchers.
March 2007 Changed organizational structure into an administrative scrivener corporation
December 2007 Changed company name to "IMS Legal Professional Corporation" and moved head office to Lawyer's Building No. 2, Nishishimbashi, Minato Ward, Tokyo
April 2008 Started American visa consulting service for all departments and campuses of University of Tokyo
August 2008 Commissioned by the Graduate University for Advanced Studies to provide proxy services for Certificate of Eligibility for Resident Status applications.
December 2013 Joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) as a corporate member. Comissioned Japanese and U.S. visa applications from other ACCJ members
April 2014 Surpassed 20,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau (now the Immigration Services Agency of Japan)
December 2014 Started services for all of Keio University to provide clerical agency work related to Japanese visa acquisition for foreign students and researchers, in addition to general American visa consulting services
January 2016 Commissioned by Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology to provide proxy services for Certificate of Eligibility for Resident Status applications.
May 2016 Head office relocated within Nishishimbashi, Minato Ward, Tokyo
July 2016 Surpassed 25,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
August 2016 Signed contract wtih Tokyo University of Science to provide visa consultations and proxy application submission to the Tokyo Immigration Bureau
September 2016 Signed business advisory contract with Hosei University for inquirires related to resident status in Japan
December 2017 Commissioned by Hitotsubashi University to provide proxy services for Certificate of Eligibility for Resident Status applications.
September 2018 Surpassed 28,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
August 2019 Established Vietnam office branch in Hanoi, Vietnam
December 2019 Surpassed 29,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
January 2020 Began offering support services for Vietnam visas and establishing corporations in Vietnam
December 2020 Surpassed 30,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
December 2021 Surpassed 35,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
December 2022 Surpassed 38,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
December 2023 Surpassed 42,000 applications submitted to the Immigration Bureau
